Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

As in other Boundary Series paintings the elements are a mixture of representational and non. Many of the elements are pushing the viewers perception anti-clockwise while the herring then "swim" upstream against the current. The gulls are not the "fluffy" type you see in many paintings but much more like real nature. They squawk and fight for the food below in the churning sea. The gestalt is disturbed by transitions while the whole pushes perception.
My family owned a technical illustration firm so I spent part of my youth observing illustrators produce impossibly complicated projects for Fortune 500 clients. The advantage of my exposure to the profession was simply that I knew the seemingly impossible could be done and that it required an unbelievable work ethic to accomplish.I was not that interested in an illustration career, but I loved to paint. I was fortunate enough to be accepted to a BFA program and then to an MFA degree program in painting. I have had highly divergent influences.
